Summer is nearly here and I am still dreaming about the Lemonade Stand at the Parker Palm Springs. Until we meet again, I am sharing my rendition of a poolside Lemonade.
for 1 drink
Zest and juice from 1 lemon
2 ounces simple syrup, recipe below
2 ounces gin, optional
1 sprig mint
Add some ice into a 16-ounce tumbler.
Halve and juice the lemon. Put the lemon hulls, lemon juice, simple syrup and gin into a cocktail shaker with ice.
Shake very well and strain into the glass.
Top with sparkling water, garnish and enjoy.
